BORN OLD is Paul Gartner (banjo, guitar & vocals) and Doug Van Gundy (fiddle, guitar, banjo-mandolin & vocals). They play traditional old-time music from West Virginia and early country classics from the great artists of the 78 rpm era: The Carter Family, Charlie Poole, Uncle Dave Macon, and others. Paul and Doug have been making music together for 13 years, and a typical performance will include hard-driving fiddle tunes, harmony singing, and a little cornball humor.
